The cut was created/invented by celebrity hairstylist Danielle Priano, who boasts an impressive client list that includes Jennifer Lopez, Sabrina Carpenter, Nina Dobrev, Julianne Hough, and models Alessandra Ambrosio and Elsa Hosk.

Priano introduced the hairstyle as the “whisper pixie” on Instagram. According to the hairstylist, the look is inspired by Audrey Hepburn, looks that she and Hill have been creating for more than a decade.
